- Stronger focus on financial reporting
- More community engagement and better communication with all residents
- Improving staff reports that support and align with the Carling's strategic plans that would include metrics to assist in delivering municipal services
- I was the initial Co-chair of the Integrated Community Energy & Climate Actions Plans (ICECAP), which the Township of Carling is a member
FAIR TAXATION
I have learnt to advocate for prudent use of resident's tax dollars through the following deputations, committees and Board positions:
Through my professional experience and participation in these committees/Board position, I have uncovered issues that required thorough discussion and analysis, resulting in either cost savings and/or more efficient use of your tax dollars. I am able to bring forward issues and will continue to advocate for the Township of Carling to be fiscally responsible with your tax dollars!
- 2024 and 2025 Carling budget submission requesting improvements to the budgeting process, discretionary donation policy (which was eventually adopted by the Township of Carling) and two (2) pilot programs for (a) participating in the FoodCyler waste reduction program, and (b) transfer sites evening hours
- Municipal funding requests for ICECAP and the Muskoka Watershed Council program to perform and support municipal services across multi-municipalities
- Seguin Township Finance Committee member appointed 2014 to 2022

ENVIRONMENT
My concern for the Environment has:
- Respect for the federal, provincial and municipal environmental rules and regulations because we need to ensure long-term sustainability
- Each resident needs to do their part to ensure the Township of Carling fulfills its environmental obligations for current and future generations
REVITALIZE AND GROW THE TOWNSHIP OF CARLING
To Grow the Township of Carling, I will look for:
- Opportunities to expand the economic development mandate, with a vision into the future for business creation
